Stepping out of the frying pan and into the fire, eatmybeat welcome Belgian producer D-Nite to the label. He brings the heat on his latest release after previous drops on signature labels such as Erbium Records, Fine Grains and excess. This five track EP titled “Ai Amor EP” explores a variety of styles including UK Funky, Bass and a unique take on drum-driven Techno. The Liège based artist displays his production prowess with immaculate synth design and ethereal soundscapes.

We open with ”Ominous Arrival”, which as the name suggests, lures you into its depths with ghostly vocals and succulent melodies. You won’t be misled when the drums kick in and set the fist-pumping club energy, which carries throughout the EP. “Sine DNA” is the natural progression, introducing synth patterns and pads which sound like they originated off-planet, with the drums still packing that oomph. “Circular” begins to lean into the techno side of D-Nite’s musical expression, while still building from the previous tracks with new tastes and textures. The hypnotic synth lines weave in and out as the bass goes deeper…

The vibe switches as we move onto “Ai Amor”, tempting the tastebuds with its tantalising UK funky tones, whilst experimenting with bongo patterns galore – this one’s punchy but sweet, like grapefruit. Finally, the project wraps up with “Amargo” which brings all the previous tracks together in a crescendo of synth stabs, bleeps, and rolling drums.

The “Ai Amor EP” drops on April 17th on the eatmybeat Bandcamp page & JunoDownload and all other digital retail platforms on May 1st. Keep it locked!
